The ‘hamburger menu’ was invented in the 1980s by Norm Cox and has since become a universal icon for website navigation. But really, what good is a hamburger menu if you can’t actually get a burger from it? On Norm’s birthday, we decided to honor the icon behind the icon by setting things right.
