TIMES SQUARE TAKEOVER
We kicked off the flag stitching effort with an event in Times Square that featured live performances, athlete demonstrations and appearances by past olympians. People who donated that day could see their name and stitch number displayed on the many video boards taken over for the event.
PRESIDENTIAL FLAG PRESENTATION
After receiving nearly 30,000 donations and traveling to London, the flag sewn by the American people was presented to the man who represents the American people: President Barack Obama.
